finally decided to set up this blog properly once and for all, no drags, no nothing. =)
been quite a long day today... woke up at 7.00am to get myself ready for work at parkview primary for sales of uniforms! couldn't really sleep the night before, i was probably too excited about it.
when we (me, yuting, eunice) finally reached there, we were briefed by the ladies there the "what-to-do's" and the "what-not-to's". we could only start selling after the primary one orientation ends and the three of us just chatted here and there and walked around all the way till 10.30am before the crowd actually started coming.
we weren't really prepared to work that fast. it's like, we had to serve our own customers, get the right sized clothes (not forgetting having to differentiate between boy/girl), calculate the total amount of money required and make sure we don't give more/less change to the customers.
it was quite stressful and scary at first. we were really afraid of finding the wrong change and all those dumb things that could just happen. but after the 2 whole hours of walking in and out, up and down, we got used to it and even think it's quite a challenging and exciting job! ok, let's talk about the pay now. heh. we got our first salary today. $35. =) our first 35. but i hope we'll be collecting our pay on a weekly basis after today i hope because i really am tempted to spend it immediately!
but anyways, it was quite a cool experience and i'm definitely looking forward to our next job schedule! *grins*
anyways, i'm supposed to be in bed. and i'm tired so there, bye.
